I’m a 30-something year old, stubborn and hot-headed Italian. I’m confident and passionate about life, and keeping true to myself. I’d be lying to myself if I wrote that I don't give much thought to yesterday, and I don't worry about tomorrow – but I do…, to some extent. For those of you in my life, you’re there for a reason! I value my friendships and most importantly, my family. For those who have turned out to be less than a friend – I have learned and grown stronger from knowing you!!!

Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law
Thursday, August 18, 2005
The best 15 minutes per episode you can spend! I loved this show from the first episode I saw. It’s one of those shows that you have to watch a few times to catch everything since it's so fast paced. I am now hooked for life!

For anybody who hasn't seen the show, it features Birdman from the late 60’s early 70’s Hanna Barbera cartoon character reinvented as Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law. In each episode, he defends a cartoon client accused of some crime i.e. Shaggy and Scooby busted for smoking pot in the Mystery machine, The Flintstones episode for racketeering, Fred is charged with being the "Bedrock Don" but it was really Barney who was the master mind all along – it’s a spoof on the Sopranos - pure genius! Also, Apache Chief whose case involved spilling scalding coffee on his lap and the loss of this superpower to “grow”, Yogi's pal BooBoo is charged as a terrorist a.k.a “the Unabooboo”, and Jonny Quest as the subject of a gay child-custody battle!. Other characters include Speed Buggy, The Jetsons, Jabberjaw and the Neptunes and many more. Plus, there are lots of hilarious bits and pieces that make it one of the most demented things I've seen since 'Ren and Stimpy'. Ironically, many of Birdman's nemeses featured in his former cartoon series have also become attorneys, and often represent the opposing side of a given case.

My favourite characters are Mentok ‘The Mindtaker’, Reducto ("No one told me your feet would be so - tiny!") and Birdman’s clerk, Peanut.

This is an utterly brilliant show and I can't wait to see more episodes! You pretty much have to be between the ages of 30ish to mid 40’s and had to spend most of your Saturday mornings glued to the TV watching cartoons to truly appreciate it. Even if you don't recognize the characters, it's so funny that you will be amazed.

I Can't Make You Love Me - by, Bonnie Raitt
Tuesday, August 16, 2005
Turn down the lights, turn down the bed
Turn down these voices inside my head
Lay down with me, tell me no lies
Just hold me close, don't patronize - don't patronize me

CHORUS:
Cause I can't make you love me if you don't
You can't make your heart feel something it won't
Here in the dark, in these final hours
I will lay down my heart and I'll feel the power
But you won't, no you won't
'Cause I can't make you love me, if you don't

I'll close my eyes, then I won't see
The love you don't feel when you're holding me
Morning will come and I'll do what's right
Just give me till then to give up this fight
And I will give up this fight

CHORUS:
Cause I can't make you love me if you don't
You can't make your heart feel something it won't
Here in the dark, in these final hours
I will lay down my heart and I'll feel the power
But you won't, no you won't
'Cause I can't make you love me, if you don't
